Who we are

BYK Korea Co., Ltd. was founded in 1988 and is the Korean subsidiary of the ALTANA Group, which manufactures and sells additives based on fine chemicals for a wide range of industrial sectors.

The head office, which handles sales, marketing and general administration, is located in Jungwon-gu, Seongnam, whilst the company also operates an applied technology laboratory in Yongin and a regional office in Busan.

In South Korea, the company provides technical services for additives used in a wide range of sectors, including the paint and plastics industries, electronic materials, adhesives, cosmetics and inks.
