BYK is a leading global supplier of specialty additives for coatings such as paints, inks, and inkjet applications, as well as for use in batteries, capacitors, ceramics, and plastics. In Japan, BYK operates sales, development, and laboratory facilities.

While operations are based in Tokyo, Osaka, and Amagasaki, the company works closely with its headquarters in Germany as well as teams across Europe, the United States, China, and other Asian countries to serve customers with tailored solutions and products. Across all locations, we combine global expertise with local responsibility and a shared belief that progress grows best on a stable foundation.

The standard retirement age is 65, with the option for re-employment up to the age of 70.
