Who we are

BYK is a global supplier of specialty chemicals, headquartered in Wesel (Germany) with three production sites in the Netherlands: in Deventer, Denekamp and Nijverdal.  BYK Netherlands B.V. is a developer and manufacturer of high-quality wax and polymer additives.

Our three sites in the Netherlands:

BYK in Deventer
In Deventer, we develop wax and plastic additives and manufacture them on site at our plant. Around 120 people are employed at BYK in Deventer. Our products are used in the paints and coatings industry, in printing inks, in the automotive industry and in various other sectors. They optimize surfaces, for example, and provide a gloss or matting effect, among other things.

From our warehouse, our additives are shipped all over the world.
BYK in Denekamp
In Denekamp, we develop wax and plastic additives and manufacture them on site at our plant. Our products are used in the paint and coatings industry, in printing inks, in the automotive industry and in various other sectors. They optimize surfaces, for example, and provide a gloss or matting effect, among other things. From our warehouse, our additives are shipped all over the world.

BYK in Nijverdal
In Nijverdal, we develop wax and plastic additives. The masterbatches obtained from plastic granules are used in the automotive industry, for example. Think of the dashboard, vehicle interior and bumpers, which are nowadays made of high-performance plastics.
