Who we are

BYK ASIA PACIFIC is essentially a Technical Centre that is based in Singapore, serving South East Asia with about 20 employees.

Since setting up the laboratory at Science Park in 1996, we support customers with innovative & differentiated solutions in the field of additives & instruments with professional technology & application knowledge in specific industries in Paint, Plastic & Industrial Applications.

At BYK, we live quality, embodying the ALTANA values of Appreciation, Openness, Empowerment to act & Trust.

Today, we are located at the vibrant Alexandra Technopark, together with colleagues from ECKART, ELANTAS & ACTEGA.

    Having been with BYK Asia Pacific since its founding in 1996, I have witnessed its growth from a small regional office with just three staff members to a vibrant regional laboratory and office with more than 20 colleagues today. It has been a rewarding and inspiring 30-year journey, filled with both challenges and achievements, and I am proud to have been part of this transformation. Today, we celebrate another historic milestone as all ALTANA entities, BYK, ECKART, ELANTAS, and ACTEGA, come together under one roof at our new location in Alexandra Technopark. This represents a new chapter of collaboration, unity, and opportunity, and I look forward to the exciting future ahead for all of us.
